Look 3
Look 3.
This pair of garments was designed with the elements of the glacier leading the narrative. Together, these garments provide a versatile outfit to navigate changing seasons during a variety of activities.
Separately, these garments serve their purpose even further.
Look 3 was a standout for me from the start. I love making garments that move, but my passion surely lies in protection from the elements. This softshell jacket combines those two passions into a breathable, lightweight, and water-resistant jacket, perfect for seasonal transition.
I designed this jacket with Mt. Hood at the front of my mind. I wanted to design a jacket that I could wear all day, from morning to afternoon, without being too cold or too hot. This softshell fabric achieves this by keeping wind out and moisture away from the body, all while allowing for excess heat to escape.
The bottom of this look cannot go without mention either. These shorts are a true show of my attention to detail. Only a single stitch machine was used, therefore, each double stitch line was precariously sewn parallel to one another. These shorts offer ample movement due to their ultra-stretchy fabric and zig-zag stitches where stretch matters most. The fabric also offers plenty of breathability as well as a water-resistant coating.
