Look 1
Look 1.
Look 1 was designed as a set of garments meant to move freely through variable terrain and adjust quickly to rapid changes in temperature.
The top is highly breathable, lightweight, and moisture-wicking. It also offers lots of stretch and a delightful hand.
The bottoms are incredibly stretchy and breathable, making them a great option for hiking, climbing, and scrambling.
Look 1, the most problematic of them all. This look was originally going to be designed entirely using CLO3D. The top and the bottom were completed using CLO, and as I finished their muslins, the sizing was clearly off. The top was not salvageable, but the pants were.
So, I continued developing the pants and went back to the drawing board for the top. Eventually, I chose to scrap the original rugby tee and transition to a more athletic t-shirt to align with the design concept.
Using CLO, I scaled down the pants pattern to fit my model perfectly. I assembled the pants and moved on to the shirt as the show date grew near. Finally, both of the garments were complete just before their final quality check, passing with flying colors.
