CAD II
Huckson Performance Outerwear
About the Project
A fully developed technical skiwear brand for the final CAD course at SPU, CAD for Portfolio. The Huckson Performance Outerwear collection comprises 16 pieces across four layering system options. These pieces were designed as a cohesive system with complementary colorways and shared brand identity.
Founded in Heritage
The brand is named after the founder’s brother, Hudson Faull - nicknamed “Huckson” for his bold skiing style. The logo, originally designed in 2018 for a group of skiing obsessed 15-year-olds, carries nearly a decade of friendship and mountain culture in it.
F.E.A.S.T Framework
Every piece is designed against five benchmarks: Flow, Edge, Ascend, Storm, and Technique. These are not buzzwords; they are actual standards that guided the development of each garment in the collection.
Performance Driven, Fashion Inspired
HPO sits between Arc’teryx’s technical precision and Flylow’s fashion-forward attitude. The goal of this line was to achieve both without sacrificing either.
The Kinetic Line, Winter 2026
Four layering components. Four factory-ready tech packs. Four colorways each. One complete layering system for a wide range of conditions. Built to move, endure, and shred.
